There will be a WELCA luncheon/business meeting on Sunday, Nov. 22 following the congregation's budget meeting.  Agenda items will include planning for holiday season events.

WOMEN OF THE ELCA

ALTAR CARE

Quilters at work!

WELCA (Women of the ELCA)is a community of women, created
in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and our empowered by the Holy Spirit. They commit themselves, to grow in faith, affirm their gifts, support one another in their callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world. Their mission is to moblize women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ.

Quilting

Quilting is a major ministry at Trinity.  This group makes quilts for Lutheran World relief which sends them around the world to poverty-stricken countries. The quilts serve as blankets, floor coverings, and even room dividers for the most impoverished.  In October 2008, our small group shipped over 200 quilts to LWR!  Come join us every Tuesday at 9:00 am. No experience or skill is necessary--just a willingness to help and and desire enjoy the fellowship!
